I've been laughing at this term for at least the last decade, because I had long-since past realized it's what criminals (aka libertine "liberals" and "muslims") are all about - but now they've doubled down so much that it's become a real, official, academic faculty of instruction in our colleges! As if somehow all "victims" of diverse problems and crimes, somehow all had something in common, which could be scientifically studied!
"Victimology" (now openly "taught" in colleges!) is really only the criminals' main alibi to excuse their crimes - the false notion that there are no real crimes nor criminals, because there is no free-will intent or choice: everyone is a helpless victim of "inevitable" force: of "society" / mere products of their environments (or of "Historical Predeterminism" as Karl Marx put it) and of course as proud "slaves of allah!"
In the hallowed halls and ivory towers of Academia, Life is now officially too complex for anyone to ever be able to really understand causes and effects, so, "since" all 'facts' are really only opinions anyway, from now on all of the leftists' entirely fact-free, subjective opinions, are to be legally deemed and held to be the diversely opposite equals to those silly conservatives' so-called objective 'facts!' If you look like a man but feel like a woman, then hey presto! From now on, the Law will say that you are a woman, and may allah help those female bigots who expect their daughters to be able to safely use the women's change-rooms and washrooms while denying you entry!
So nothing is really ever anyone's fault, so everyone can from now on have rights without any silly concomitant, corollary responsibilities! People are now free to do what they want, whenever and wherever they want to do it, and to whomever they want to do it with or to, too! Now that's "progress!" Whee!

Shooting victim studied to help victims of violence

A young woman shot in Bells Corners early Easter Sunday morning had hope to use her education to work with youths who were victims of crime.
But the 24-year-old Algonquin College student herself became a victim of violence over the weekend and wasn’t expected to recover from her injuries.
Christina Voelzing was only weeks from completing a “graduate program in victimology" when she was shot several times inside her Bells Corners home.
Police said at press time Monday evening that Voelzing remained on life support. Friends, meanwhile, had posted pictures in tribute to Voelzing on social media throughout the day.
A day earlier, neighbours said they heard several gunshots at about 5 a.m. at 11D Sonnet Cres., a four-unit building near Old Richmond Road and Moodie Drive.
Several neighbours also said they heard a single loud bang coming from the direction of the building three hours before they heard the shots. By Monday night, police did not have a suspect in custody and had released few details about the shooting, which continued to be investigated by major crime detectives.
Hmmmm ... no details on the shooters or motivations, but since a "victimologist" is involved, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and posit the (extremely obvious) guess that IT WAS HER SWARTHY MUSLIM BOYFRIEND!
Flags were flying at half-mast at Algonquin College on Monday.
Voelzing’s mother, Sherryl Fraser, is the chair of general arts and sciences at the college.
“It is difficult to imagine the shock, pain and loss felt by our friend and colleague,” said college president Cheryl Jensen in a memo to staff. “I know you will all join me in expressing our deepest condolences to Sherryl and her family, who remain in our thoughts and in our prayers.”
If she was in your thoughts, you might want to blame her for ruining AND ENDING her daughter's life by abusing her with these ridiculously criminally negligent notions that everyone is a victim and all criminals need coddling!
The college’s tragic events response team was offering counselling to students, and college staff in need of support were directed to the employee assistance program. PURE VICTIMOLOGY IS INGRAINED HERE TOO!
According to her own social media profiles, Voelzing also studied hospitality at Algonquin, in 2012, and most recently worked as a server at Fitz Classic Grill.
Co-workers at the Bells Corners restaurant expressed their shock and disbelief when contacted Monday.
Voelzing was due to complete a two-year graduate program in victimology in April.
“Upon graduation, I hope to work with youth involved in the criminal justice system,” she wrote on one online profile. “I hope to use my skills and understanding of victims’ rights and needs as well as the victim-offender continuum to work with and support youth.” SHE WAS "STUDYING THE VICTIM-OFFENDER CONTINUUM!"
Voelzing made several other postings on her Facebook profile, which took on an unsettling tone following Sunday’s shooting.
Just before Christmas, she posted a picture of herself planting a kiss on a young man’s cheek, writing the caption: “RIP. Forever loved. Forever missed.”
Her friends were sharing similar sentiments about Voelzing in social media postings.

Postmedia has learned that a gunfight erupted between two men inside Voelzing’s home around 5 a.m. Easter Sunday after an armed gunman known to the young Algonquin student busted through the front door and then began firing at several occupants of the home at 11D Sonnet Cres.
Another man inside the home, also known to Voelzing, also had a gun and the two exchanged gunfire.
"HMMMM!" Unusual in Ottawa, Canada - UNLESS THEY WERE BOTH HELPLESS MUSLIM "VICTIMS!"
At one point, a gun was pointed at Voelzing’s roommate and Voelzing pushed the woman out of the way and was shot in the neck.
Police believe the shooting was targeted, but would not detail who they suspect the intended target was.
Because that might risk their own pensions and careers if it got them accused of being "hateful racist bigots!"
“The shooter had a clear and focused intent to attack a person,” said acting Staff Sgt. Darren Vinet, who heads the homicide unit.
The 24-year-old woman was found unconscious inside the home after neighbours heard several gunshots and a loud bang.
Voelzing had no vital signs once at hospital, but was revived and taken into surgery. She was kept on life support for several days before ultimately succumbing to her injuries early Wednesday morning.
Vinet said police are looking for “at least one suspect” in the killing and that investigators, for their part, are still trying to determine the sequence of events that led to Voelzing’s killing. A vehicle was seized at the scene on Sunday.
Aside from a 2013 impaired driving conviction, Voelzing did not have a criminal record, but friends said that in recent years she had been involved in troubled, and at times violent, relationships. AHAH! Methinks "muslims!"
Postmedia has learned that police are also probing the killing for links to the sex trade. Again: I'd bet: "Muslims!"
Voelzing was just weeks away from graduating from a victimology program at Algonquin College, where her mother Sherryl Fraser is chair of general arts and sciences. Complicit enabler of coddling criminals!
Voelzing had hoped to work with youth victims and offenders. Because to liberals, there is no real difference.
The college is in the process of collecting donations to create a bursary in Voelzing’s honour. To liberals, blatant Stupidity should always be honoured.
The co-ordinator of her program called her kind, compassionate and full of “inspiring resilience.” Willful ignorance?
In a statement released Wednesday morning, just hours after Voelzing’s family took her off life support, her uncle Randy Booth said the family confirmed her death with “heavy hearts.” Can't neck wounds be repaired?
Oh, wait - in true liberal (think: "Planned parenthood") tradition, they wanted to chop her up and sell the parts!
Voelzing was kept alive long enough that her organs could be donated – something her family said she would’ve been happy to know — and that family and friends could get the chance to say goodbye to the young woman.
“The outpouring of support from friends and the community is overwhelming and much appreciated,” Booth said.
Voelzing’s family has requested privacy as they grieve. "We taught our daughter that there are no criminals and so everyone, muslims included, are always innocent until never proven guilty, because they are always victims!"
Booth said that while the homicide investigation into his niece’s death continues, the family has not received any updates on the investigation.
Voelzing’s is the sixth homicide of the year. She is the fifth person to die by gunfire in Ottawa in 2016.

EX-BOYFRIEND OF EASTER SHOOTING VICTIM ARRESTED
Police had issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Behnam Yaali, 23. He was wanted on a charge of second-degree murder. A MUSLIM SHOWING UP ARMED TO KILL SOMEONE IS ONLY 2ND DEGREE MURDER!
Yaali is to appear in Ottawa court on Saturday.
Randy Booth, Voelzing’s uncle, had said the family was “relieved” that police were making progress in the investigation and that a person of interest had been identified.
“We ask the public to keep an eye out for this individual so justice may be served,” he had said on behalf of Voelzing’s family, who asked for privacy as they grieve.
“We’re going to let the authorities handle this, let them do their jobs and we’re just going to try to heal as a family and carry on,” Booth said.
Voelzing, 24, was mortally wounded early Easter Sunday morning when two of her former lovers exchanged gunfire inside the apartment she shared with two roommates. Around 5 a.m., police believe Yaali kicked in the front door and began firing inside the home at 11D Sonnet Cres.
Another man inside the home, believed to be Voelzing’s former boyfriend whom she had recently rekindled a relationship with, also had a gun and the two exchanged gunfire.
Friends told Postmedia the Algonquin College student, who was weeks away from completing a victimology program, died after a gun that was initially pointed at her roommate was fired at her. She leapt in to intervene and was shot in the neck. Police allege Yaali pulled the trigger.

Friends alleged that both Yaali and the second gunman in the house were involved in drug activity. "GOSH!"
Police had been probing any connections the gunmen had to the sex trade.
Yaali has never been convicted of a crime in Ontario. In 2011, he was charged with drug possession but that charge was later withdrawn. He does, however, have an American criminal record.
On July 24, 2012, Yaali was arrested at the Miami International Airport with 7.78 kilograms of cocaine that he smuggled into the country from Ecuador.
Yaali’s American Airlines flight arrived shortly after 2:20 p.m. from Quito, Ecuador, according to information sworn by a special agent for homeland security investigations. During a secondary examination of Yaali’s luggage, customs officers found “a white powdery substance concealed in a false siding and the railings” of his suitcase. Yaali lied and said he didn’t know about the dope since he had bought the suitcase in Ecuador but then later admitted the truth.
He was initially charged with importing cocaine and, because of the large quantity, possession with intent to distribute.
Yaali negotiated a plea deal that saw him plead guilty to smuggling the drugs so that the trafficking charge was dismissed. He was sentenced to 30 months in jail. THEN THEY LET HIM INTO CANADA WITH HIS GUNS.
