FASCBOOK'S FAKE FACT FASCISTS PRETEND TO CHECK FACTS BUT ONLY FAKE IT!

Facebook's factless 'factcheckers'

On Monday a post from Sarah Palin hit our Facebook page. The post contained an article from Analyzing America about a Nevada Bernie Sanders speech in which Sanders made his case that everyone, including undocumented illegal immigrants, should receive free housing and free tuition because "all of our people are entitled to basic human rights."

Titled, "Bernie Sanders: Illegal immigrants are 'entitled' to the same government benefits as citizens," the article caught our eye not because it was more about commie Bernie promising free stuff. That's just the grumpy old commie Bernie being commie Bernie. It caught our eye because the image for the post was grayed out and over the image were the words, "False information. Checked by independent fact checkers."

Well, well, we thought. How could that be "false information." After all, we were certain we'd heard Bernie say just that very thing. Turns out, we were correct.
Bernie's actual words were these:
Today we got 500,000 people sleeping out on the streets of America. Today we have 18 million families paying 50% of their limited incomes for housing. Today we have hundreds of thousands of bright young people who cannot afford to get a higher education. Today we have 45 million paying a student debt that many of them cannot afford to pay. So, what our campaign is about and what our administration will be about is rethinking America, understanding that all of our people — when I say "all," I also mean the undocumented in this country — that all of our people are entitled to basic human rights.
Since "basic human rights" to the grumpy old commie include free housing and free tuition, did Bernie say that even undocumented illegal immigrants are entitled to free housing and free tuition? Yes, he did, unless you are a Facebook "factchecker."

Those "factcheckers" told Analyzing America that Bernie didn't say what we heard him say. What Bernie said, according to Facebook's "factcheckers," was "undocumented" immigrants are "entitled to basic human rights."

While anyone with two brain cells to rub together can read the transcript or listen to Bernie making the speech and understand that what he is saying is that free housing and free college tuition are "basic human rights," and that everyone, even "the undocumented in this country… are entitled to basic human rights," Facebook's "factcheckers" thought that was a leap too far. Apparently, Facebook's "factcheckers" don't have two brain cells to rub together. Either that, or they are fake news.

Regardless, Analyzing America was "forced" (if they wanted to avoid the wrath of the Facebook speech police) to change the headline of their post. So as to get around what was essentially a shadow ban, they chose the new headline: "Bernie Sanders: 'Undocumented' immigrants 'entitled to basic human rights' in America."

The change didn't do them any good, though. As of this writing the post is still marked as "False information."

Analyzing America isn't the only alternative media site Facebook's "factcheckers" zinged for misinterpreting fully understanding commie Bernie's words. The Mental Recession posted the same video of commie Bernie's speech with essentially the same initial headline. Facebook pulled their video down. When contacted, Facebook's "factcheckers" replied, "You could note that Sanders said 'basic human rights,' and not 'US government benefits.' Those are not synonymous."

While it's true in normal world that those two things aren't synonymous, in Bernie world they are. He said so himself.

It's quite clear who is fake news here and who isn't. And if you want to hear for yourself what Bernie said, go here.
