Racism is at the heart of this federal election. Increasingly, it is about who and what counts as Canadian, about who is included in our political debates and who is not.

All of my entirely fact-free, subjective opinions are the
 diversely opposite equals of your silly objective "facts!"

This is not the simple racism of the past based on personal prejudice and divisions of people on the basis of supposed biology. Most Canadians, including most politicians, have moved beyond that. It is one based on imagined cultural practices and exclusions that can still have potentially deadly consequences. It threatens the country of tolerance and acceptance that most Canadians value.

SO, WHAT YOU’RE SAYING IS,

“RACISM MEANS WHATEVER I WANT IT TO MEAN!”

NO, ‘PROFESSOR,’ I THINK THE MOST VALID MODERN DEFINITION OF 

A “RACIST” IS: “ANYONE WHO IS WINNING AN ARGUMENT AGAINST A LIBERAL!”*

ALSO, ARE ALL CULTURAL PRACTICES “IMAGINED,” AND, IF NOT, MUST THEY ALL BE “TOLERATED AND ACCEPTED?” IT SURE SEEMS THAT YOU THINK SO, AND SO YOU ARE INSISTING THAT EVERYONE WHO REFUSES TO TOE THE LIBERAL LINE THAT “ALL CULTURES ARE EQUAL!” IS A RACIST; AND ALSO THAT “OF COURSE A CULTURE WHICH INDOCTRINATES ITS CHILDREN WITH THE TENETS OF “THOU SHALT KILL!” WILL HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME SOCIO-ECONOMIC RESULTS AS THOSE WHICH TEACH “THOU SHALT NOT KILL!” – BECAUSE TO YOU LIBERALS, ALL CULTURES MUST BE THE SAME AND HAVE THE EXACT SAME EFFECTS ON PEOPLE, BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NURTURE (PROGRAMMING, OR SOFTWARE) – THERE IS ONLY NATURE (HARDWARE; GENETICS – RACE)! OOPSIE! YOUR BACKWARDS TROPE SEEMS TO BE THIS TWISTED TAUTOLOGY:

"CULTURAL PRACTICES" (ALSO KNOWN AS "TRADITIONS" AND "HABITS") AREN'T HARD-WIRED IN TO PEOPLE, AND SO ARE VALID SUBJECTS OF OTHER PEOPLE'S LEGIT COMMENTARY AND EVEN CRITICISM! YOU'RE SAYING PEOPLE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALLOWED TO CRITICIZE OTHER PEOPLE'S BAD HABITS, MUCH LESS THEIR HISTORICAL CRIMINAL PRACTICES! MUSLIMS ARE NOT PERPETUAL VICTIMS WHOSE DELICATE FEELINGS SHOULD NEVER BE HURT! ISLAM IS A CRIME-GANG, NOT AN "OPPRESSED RACE." This racism becomes evident in the election’s silence on Aboriginal issues. The election, called within days of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s final report, has not seen a national debate on Aboriginal issues, despite the fact that three parties — the Bloc Québecois, the Greens and the Liberals — call for implementing the Commission’s recommendations in their official platforms.

THE COMMISSION’S RECOMMENDATIONS ARE UNWORKABLE INSANE FANTASIES, WELL BEYOND THE JURISDICTIONS OF ANY AND ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS:

After the devastation of entire communities by residential schools, the people with the greatest educational need in the country continue to receive the lowest per capita educational funding.

BULLSHIT. THE ABORIGINALS RECEIVE YEARLY SALARIES OF $40,000. EACH – WELL ABOVE THE AVERAGE  TAX-PAYING, NON-NATIVE PERSON’S INCOMES.

Missing and murdered Aboriginal women have not generated voter outrage, even as more women and girls are murdered.

THERE IS NOTHING TO BE OUTRAGED ABOUT. BY CONSTANTLY GROUPING THEM TOGETHER – BOTH “MISSING” AND “MURDERED” – YOU LIBERALS SLANDER ALL THE NON-NATIVES IN CANADA AS HATEFULLY-BIGOTED RACISTS. IN TRUTH THE MURDERED ONES ARE ACCOUNTED FOR, AND 75% OF THEM WERE MURDERED BY ABORIGINAL MEN ON RESERVATIONS. THE MISSING ONES ARE ON PAR WITH THE PERCENTAGE OF ALL OTHER MISSING CANADIANS – PERIOD. FUCKING LIAR!

Debates over the economy have not addressed the hundreds of First Nations and Inuit communities living in what Archbishop Desmond Tutu, South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission Chair and Nobel Peace Prize winner, years ago called “third world conditions.” The government estimates that these communities face an $8.1 billion infrastructure shortfall, yet none of the leading parties are talking about this.

WHY SHOULD WE?! WE GAVE THEM THE FUCKING MONEY AND THEIR OWN CHIEFS STOLE IT FROM THEM AND SQUANDERED IT GAMBLING IN MONACO. 

SO THEY SHOULD LEARN SOME SELF-RELIANT PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

The term for such exclusions is racism. It seems that Aboriginal people still do not count in Canadian politics, a fact that all Canadians will rue as they live the consequences of excluding the very people who live on top of the resources that all of us need for prosperity.

NOBODY’S EXCLUDING THEM, AND THE TERM FOR IT IS “SELF-GOVERNMENT.” BUT THAT INVOLVES FREE WILL.

As a historian of racisms in Canada, I am even more disturbed by the way public debate is once again allowing politicians of various stripes to pander to a racist vote. This is a county in which politicians invented white minority rule by excluding First Nations and Asian people from voting rights, in which people from China and India were barred from entering because of their race, in which people of Japanese origins were interned for no other reason than their ancestry and in which refugees of the Holocaust were denied sanctuary for fear of losing votes. Even though thousands of Canadians spent decades of effort to redress these wrongs, once again we are seeing the politics of division.

FUCKING LIAR: THE CHINESE WEREN’T EXCLUDED, THEY BUILD THE RAILROAD.

AND THE NATIVES NEVER WANTED TO VOTE, THEY WANTED FULL SEPARATION.

THERE WAS INDEED A REASON BEYOND ANCESTRY TO INTERN THE JAPANESE: JAPAN WAS THE MOST RACIST WAR-MONGERING SOCIETY IN THE WORLD THEN.

AFTER ADMITTING WE WORKED TO REDRESS THE JEWISH ISSUE, YOU PERSIST IN SLANDERING ALL WHITES AS RACISTS. SLANDER IS FRAUD AND A CRIME, LIAR.

In the county that does not protect its women, including Aboriginal women, from the violence of its men, Islamophobia masks itself as protecting Muslim women from the oppression of Muslim men. In fact, by excluding what Muslim women themselves say from our national political conversation, we force them to be less integrated and more isolated.

SO HOW WOULD "THE COUNTRY" PROTECT ITS WOMEN FROM ITS VIOLENT MEN?
ARE YOU SUGGESTING PRE-EMPTIVE MONITORING AND SEGREGATION OF MEN?!

SOUNDS LIKE YOU WANT THE BIGGEST GANG ("THE COUNTRY" OR "THE STATE") TO JAIL ALL MEN IN ADVANCE, BECAUSE YOU "PRE-EMPTIVELY, DEFENSIVELY" SLANDER ALL MEN AS INHERENTLY, VIOLENTLY DANGEROUS:

Forcing people to chose between their religion and their participation in public life creates greater social isolation. It also plays directly into the hands of the very terrorists who some claim threaten our security — terrorists, by the way, that Muslims are fighting daily.

AH, YES, “MUSLIMS ARE FIGHTING THE TERRORISTS DAILY!” EXCEPT AT BEST IT’S MORE A CASE OF WARRING MAFIA FAMILIES – YOU JUST PICKED ONE, SAY THE GAMBINOS, AND CLAIMED THAT ONLY THE TATTAGLIAS AND CORLEONES ARE IN THE MAFIA, WHILE YOUR FAVOURITE GAMBINOS ARE JUST INNOCENT ITALIAN CIVILIANS!

Islamophobes and Jihadists feed off each other; both need lonely people. As Hannah Arendt, political philosopher and refugee of the Holocaust, pointed out years ago, because they do not have to engage with the human consequences of their actions, the lonely person can follow the logic of an idea to its ultimate conclusion whether it means the murder of one or of millions. Separating people from the consequences of their actions is exactly what today’s racism is doing.

“ISLAMOPHOBES” (RATIONAL PEOPLE) DON’T NEED TO BE ‘LONELY’ TO SEE THAT ISLAM IS A THREAT TO THEM – BECAUSE ISLAM IS QUITE OPEN ABOUT IT ALL! AND HOW DOES LONELINESS FORCE PEOPLE TO FOLLOW LOGIC TO A CONCLUSION? TO YOU, IS THINKING ALWAYS REALLY ONLY FORCED BY EMOTIONS? LONELINESS ALWAYS LOGICALLY LEADS DIRECTLY TO MURDER, EVEN TO MASS-MURDER, IS THAT IT?! NEVER ANY RESPONSIBILITY!

AND, WHAT ARE THE “HIDDEN CONSEQUENCES” OF DEFENDING ONE’S SELF, TARD?! FEELING GUILTY ABOUT SURVIVING, AND FEELING BAD ABOUT HAVING HAD TO KILL THE POOR LONELY OPPRESSED CRIMINAL WHO TRIED TO MURDER YOU?! 

The solution to this racism is to build connections across differences. This begins with bringing all of Canada’s peoples into our national conversations.

So despite the article’s title, there wasn’t a shred of proof or any facts sourced or cited to make even the most feeble attempt to prove the current election has any kind of a ‘racist’ component whatsoever. As usual it was only ad-hominem slander (fraud)!

In stead, I guess, we’re all just supposed to feel guilty for actions taken by those in charge in a time of War – World War II, to be precise. And most if not all of those people are all dead now. We're "racists" because we oppose a genocidal enemy culture.
